Biogaia probiotic

Hi, ftm here. My baby is 3mth old and is taking biogaia. The PD gave us bifibaby but I switched to biogaia after finishing bifi. How long does the baby need to/can take biogaia or any other probiotic? Is it ok to take it daily? Thanks.
