yes. hand express and collect In a syringe. for me, I could yield 4ml at once. sometimes 8ml. I saved 148ml of colostrum in total. I started at 37 weeks. this way, my newborn could benefit from having more colostrum. I cup feed her after direct latching.
There's nth much to pump yet and scared tt pumping might induce labour much sooner. You can try to hand express instead and collect the colostrum in syringes.
Wait first if not it may be wasted if baby cannot drink right away. No need to pump if baby can latch
