When to choose a gynecologist

First timer here. Currently on 10th week. So far everything is normal. I have not chosen any specific gynecologist yet. Just visiting the gynec thats available on the date of appointment. I was thinking of getting a specific gynec later if theres any complications. Or is it better to choose gynec in early stage itself? Any thoughts? Thanks much 😊

Know your own medical history. If you have pre-existing medical condition, better choose gynae who experienced in managing high risk pregnancy. 1st trimester has higher chance of miscarriage. Things that you can’t really feel or see and looks like normal healthy pregnancy isn’t always turn out good when you’re high risk. this kind of abnormality can only be caught by your gynae during the checkup. You might required to eat certain meds for most of your pregnancy. So better to start your consultation with the expert.
