Is choosing a specific gynae compulsory? If yes at which week??

Hi, I haven't chosen any specific gynae yet and am at week 12 of pregnancy going to NUH for scans. Is it compulsory to choose a specific gynae or is it alright to have a different one during each visit?? If it is, then at which week should I choose??#1stimemom
