bottle warmer

Hi, first time mum to be! Was wondering if a portable bottle warmer is needed if I intend to feed with pre stored breastmilk in a bottle when I go out? Like the kind you take out of the fridge. Or is room temperature breastmilk okay? Thanks!

Super Mum

If you’re going to feed baby within 1 hour of going out, you can warm the milk up just before you leave the house, then cap the bottle and pack it in:) Baby can drink the milk at room temperature while you’re out

I bought an avent portable bottle warmer which I use to heat up my ebm when out as I will keep the bottles of breast milk chilled in cooler bag until baby wants to feed.
