Sharing My Experience

First of all gusto ko magpa-thank you dito sa TAP kasi sobrang naging active dito more than sa fb or other social media app habang pregnant ako. I was 34 going 35 when I got pregnant. Planned pregnancy after almost a year of marriage with a boyfriend of 15 years. I was afraid na di na ako magkakababy dahil marami sa batchmates ko nahihirapan magconceive at this age. Pero mabilis lang nakabuo agad kami pero ang problem is nabed rest ako since 4 weeks because of subchorionic hemorrhage. I had several bleeding episodes after. There was a time na I thought I had an abortion but thank God baby was okay. Naging compliant ako with check ups/ultrasound almost every 2 weeks, took expensive meds. At 17 weeks, I had preterm contractions. My placenta was low lying. Sobrang nagpray ako na di ako magdeliver agad at umabot ako 37 weeks. Third trimester, we planned for scheduled CS due to my placenta and sa shape ng hips ko mukhang maliit sipit sipitan ko. I was scheduled oct 13 (38 weeks and 5 days). At 36 weeks 5 days I underwent non stress test, dun nakita ng OB ko na may contractions na ako. At the same time nakita sa ultrasound may single cord coil si baby. Binigyan uli ako injection to stop contractions. At exactly 37 weeks, pina NST uli ako. May contractions pa din and baby's heart rate is decreasing in variability. Nagdecide ang OB ko na mag emergency CS na. Thank God everything went smoothly. Meet our baby girl, my little milk dragon, born 37 weeks, 2.47 kg. PS: Totoo nga masakit ang CS after kahit wala ng labor. At need talaga ng help kasi flat on bed ka for several hours pero need mo ifeed si baby.
