Infant care or helper
Hi fellow mummies, as per above. Which choices will you go for once maternity leaves ends. Is it true that babies will get sick very often in infant care? And then defeats the purpose of placing them in infant care as we need to continuously take leave to care for them at home

Hi mummy, it really depends on your comfort level and gut feeling too.. This was my headache last year, I'm the type who overthinks alot.😅, But luckily for me I get to wfh most of the time and therefore I can oversee what my helper is doing with baby while I attend meetings and do my work. I do have cameras in the house. But if not for wfh option, I would have placed my baby in infant care because example :even helpers need to use the washroom, so then who will be with baby that time ? , will baby be left alone or she bring along? How will she manage on her own will drive me nuts especially if baby is not steady on his/her own yet ? Infant care- atleast there are backup teachers and can take turns and hopefully baby won't be left alone unsupervised. Also, for us as foreigners we do not have any subsidy and it can be very costly for infant care and it made more sense to get a helper instead. But I do find my helper irritating as her understanding issue is getting onto my nerves 😂. Now I'm just waiting to send my LO to playgroup school by 18 months as by then he is more steady ( can walk and all). Then I'll not have a helper anymore and the other reason is LO can go and play and get exhausted and sleep early (I hope!!). 😂😂. Sorry for the long post 🤗
