Infant care or helper

Hi fellow mummies, as per above. Which choices will you go for once maternity leaves ends. Is it true that babies will get sick very often in infant care? And then defeats the purpose of placing them in infant care as we need to continuously take leave to care for them at home

This was my concern throughout my whole maternity leave journey. I ended up opting for infant care as i would want my baby to develop properly according to age, if that makes sense, i’m a FTM with no experience with babies whatsoever so knowing my baby is in safe hands with actual certified teachers puts my heart at ease. but yes, my baby has fell sick a few times in a month. especially when he first started infant care. now it gets better. my friend on the other hand opted for helper, her daughter contracted UTI due to helpers negligence. and even though she’s not in school, she had caught a fair amount of viruses my son caught while he is in school. so tbh, there are so many pros and cons. it’s just a matter of which pros and cons suits you.
