Honest Comment or Observation of a toddler

Example may nakita siyang PWD, he/she said to you na 'look mommy, wala siyang paa'. Or something like 'grandma is old na'. Etc. How do you handle it? Kelangan bang icorrect ang pagiging honest ng toddler?

I think as long as there's no disrespect or mocking tone in the way they said it, then it should be ok and it's not really offensive. Though I also think it's an opportunity for us to teach them more. Like, I'd probably tell my lo "Yes, baka dahil nagkasakit sila or maybe got into an accident. It's also challenging for them to walk kaya when we see them and they need help, tulungan natin sila." ..."Yes, grandma is old kaya we should always help them if they need it, and also always be polite and respectful to elders." ...it can also be an opportunity to teach them to be considerate in saying such things out loud as others might find it offensive, etc ☺️

Thank you. Will take ur advice. Medyo na caught off guard lang ako kaya di nakapag react sa sinabi ng lo ko. Very observant kasi at super curious. Minsan nauubusan na ako ng knowledge on how to explain it better😂
