Baby first movement

Earlier this morning I suddenly felt a funny kind of pain around the lower tummy (not very pain). Then I put my hands on my tummy and suddenly feel some small movement (like something small rubs against my hand). Does baby movement cause light pain?

My friend felt pain when she first started feeling movements. Even went a&e but dr said it was baby’s movements causing it
