Change due date

Would my doctor change my due date if i ovulated early? For example normally will ovulate around around day 14th. But if i ovulated around day 7- 10th. Would they change my due date?

Your EDD may/will change as your pregnancy progresses. It is dependent on the size of your baby. It will be more or less fixed around week 12 onwards. I had my EDD changed 3 times so far. But only a matter of days apart.

12mo ago

We always followed my latest EDD. I think biggest changes were seen around week 7-8. During the scan, the gynae will measure your baby and an estimated gestational age based on your baby’s size (how many weeks) will come up on the screen. If it is about 1 week difference then your gynae will ask you to follow the latest EDD. Really depends on baby’s growth. If your baby is growing normally (steady pace) then your first EDD should be quite accurate. :)

My edd for first pregnancy didnt change. But i have heard frens who had changes thruout

It’s estimated according to the size of your bb I believe :)

Edd will change 1-2 times based on baby size
