Doc want to induce at 37 weeks cause baby weighed 2kg. Is it ok?

I'm on my 37th week and the EFW of my baby is at 3.275kg, but my OB GYN hasn't told me about inducing labor. Maybe she has other reasons?

    I have similar situation, my OB is talking about induce but hope baby will come naturally at 38 or 39 weeks.
