stuck at 7cm - no progress after 2 hours.. olygohydramnios..meconium stained amniotic fluid.. cord loop.. bp 140/90.. fetal distress his heartbeat dropped to 80bpm..without hesitation, my ob decided to perform an emergency c section, of course after asking for our consent. During the course of my operation my ob found out i have placenta accreta (everything was ok during my ultrasound scans). I consider my childbirth a work of God bec placenta accreta is a life threatening condition. Such is considered a high risk pregnancy. I was truly blessed when I had to give birth thru emergency c section, I may have not survived if it was a vaginal delivery. I endured all of these for my baby 😊
