Is it common to have brown spots in 5 weeks pregnancy? Anything i need to do

It’s not abnormal. I had brown discharge around wk 10. Started having it when I woke up and pee and saw it when i wiped. Then i called kkh to ask if I should go to the urgent o&g. Was advised that if it stops then it’s okay. If it persists, then I should go to urgent O&G. When i went to pee the second time, there was brown discharge again so I rushed to KKH urgent O&G and doctor found out that I had a slight infection. Gave me antibiotics that was safe for pregnancy and that stopped the discharged. Good to get yourself checked if you don’t feel comfortable about it.

How are you now? Because I’m facing the same thing😭 5 weeks and a lil bit of cramps light brown discharge

hello, last week i was on 5 weeks and had a dark brown discharge and on and off cramps in the morning, went to the nearest GP and he assured me it is normal. However if the discharge becomes red/period like color and the cramping is constant, then need to go to hospital/OB
