my tots has post covid-19 cough

my child has been coughing (with phlegm) since he recovered from covid 19 in mid Feb. seen gp for checks and doctor say is normal for covid cough to persist so long. none of the cough syrup prescribe by doc or bought over the counter works. can anyone advise or share their experience

I went to this TCM Chong Hoe Healthcare TCM @Bukit Timah 144 Upper Bukit Timah Rd, #02-14, Singapore 588177 Physician is Pansy Yeo. It’s a family business since earlier generations - grandfather in-law shop is at Serangoon Gardens - u can Google for addresss - same name Chong Hoe
