Is child care leave based on calendar or fiscal year ? Eg, baby born in Aug 2016, CCL is 6 days till Dec 2016 or till Aug 2017?
Standard would be based on calendar year, you can check with your hr if any deviation in the company. Another thing to note is you can choose not to take it in the first year but from the second year on. eg, if you give birth in Aug 2016, since you have maternity leaves and possibly annual leave/other leaves to consume by end of the year, you might want to start your CCL only in 2017. cheers. :)
