They get to choose the toy (for them to think wisely of their decision) but I get to decide when they are given the chance to choose one. It’s good to set limits e.g only get to buy one toy a week. Or two toys a month.
Well, he will request for it. Then I will ask why do you need that. If not necessary, he won't want to get the toys again..
My kids are a little older now, so they get to have a say in what types of toys/games they get.
