How does one get infant care when waiting list is 1 year or more?

Hi all, just a bit curious. I am about 4months pregnant and looking at infant care. But I realise I can only apply 3 months before edd. But waiting list is 1 year or more! How does it work and how did you all resolve? Grandparents? Helper? Thanks!

It's a common issue unfortunately, the only way is to source other schools, you may have to go with slightly more expensive options so the wait list is shorter. Although some schools say the waiting time is 1 year but you will actually get it sooner
