It really depends on you want for the trip. I never been to Bintan, so I chose to go Bintan instead of Batam.

If you are looking for shopping I would recommend Batam but if for relax I would choose bintan

Batam is more value for $. Bintan more pricey yet e perceived value may not be much higher...

Batam sekupang side is actually very nice and relaxing...And the custom is less crazy

Batam is cheaper but it depends on the agenda of the trip

Both are boring tbh rather go bali or lombok

Cheaper with lots of new resorts to enjoy

Batam is definitely cheaper than bintan.

Bintan is a little bit more safe.
