And also use mattress protector and the pvc mat to prevent leaking. When I was potty training my #1, I change/wash tonnes mattress covers, pants and plenty of underwear plus dragging him up to use the toilet at night because I jolly well know that he will wet his bed. Eventually he mastered it and he even know how to control/ wakes up to use the toilet. This takes me <3 months. Not sure whether it is consider too Long but the end result is, we did it!! Hahhahah

Make it a habit for kids to pee before going to bed and use pull-up pants
Bathroom before sleep and right before bedtime unless very thirsty.
Also wake him up in the middle of night to go to the toilet once
Ensure he goes to toilet before sleep and prepare the protector
And have the bed protector sheet as well for double protection
Use a sleep protector and go to the toilet before sleeping.
This is helpful so no need to clean the mattress every time
