Hi, mom of 2 preemie babies. Repeat newborn screening is required sa mga premature babies. As per our pedia, if meron namang prob sa result is tatawagan agad ng hospital. If nagtxt sa inyo for pick up na ang result, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
update: got the result of the newborn screening. Passed naman po. we were just recommended for 2nd newborn screening dahil premature si baby. Standard procedure po nila na magpa screening kapag premature (with or without findings)
dapat po sabihin nila kung ano ang result bago ang confirmation test. sa case ng anak ko, nag positive siya sa G6PD, but pina confirmation test para makasure . tapos negative nmn
