Almost Can’t Sleep

Baby is almost 1 month old and nights are SO tough. He wakes up every 2 hours like clockwork and sometimes refuses to go back to sleep unless I hold him. My husband did a lot but still tired. I feel like a zombie at this point 😵. How do you moms manage night wakings? Does it ever get better?

yup it went on for a couple more months and got to three hour naps and wake for feed and cuddle past four months old. then i started to breastfeed sidelying so pretty easy for nights but only had a good six hour stretches past one year old. its crazy tiring but once weaned off around two years old i finally got seven hour stretches safely whew. appreciated the exhaustion seeing baby thrive super well but yea ur sanity tho haha

and yes i rocked baby for every nap six times a day and throughout the night until she turned seven months. but some kids are just vestibular and proprioceptive seeking! 2.5 years now and yes shes climbs jumps and swings from everything 🥺

Mine cannot sleep alone in her cot if not she will keep waking up too so I got no choice but to co-sleep with her since she was 1 month old. My baby used to wake up twice a night for feedings. Now at 8 months, she still wake up once for feeding as I never sleep train her. You definitely have to endure for the next few months.

My experience with all my newborns is that they will fell asleep right after breastfeeding. Yours is after feeding he needs to be carried and rocked to sleep is it?
