my baby had the same situation when she was 9 months old (now 10 month). i believe it's a regression cuz she would just sit up in the middle of her sleep then cried cuz she needed help to settle down back to bed. this phase shall pass okie! is she using pacifier? if that helps soothe her, just give her her pacifier. mine lasted for a week only for me to realise it's a regression 🗿
