(ii) Cow’s milk formula is the most widely used and is typically well-balanced, with added iron, folate (vitamin B9), and other essential vitamins and minerals. It may not be suitable for babies with cow’s milk protein allergy. (iii) Soy formula is plant-based and dairy-free, making it an option for babies with lactose intolerance or cow’s milk protein allergy.
