ask lang po sana if me same situation ako dito.. i am married po with my ex hubby pero hiwalay na kami for almost 10yrs. as of now i am currently pregnant with new partner..since surname po ni ex hubby ang gamit ko, hindi ako nkapagfile for sss maternity benefits. Now i was wondering kung pwede ko magamit ang philhealth ko since CS kasi yun advise sakin ng OB ko. pls dont hate po..i know kelangan sinettle ko muna un annulment before this pero nandito na at pareho nman kmi ni ex hubby me partners na. Thanks po

Hi momsh. We have the same situation. I gave birth last January via C-Section lang and nagamit ko po yung SSS at Philhealth benefits ko. Regardless of who the father is, pwede mo gamitin yun kasi benefit mo yun especially if you are employed like me. So long as you hit their requirements, you can use those benefits po. Talk to your HR, mommy or better yet talk to SSS & Philhealth directly (not sure lang if available ang customer service nila these days.) Sayang po yun. My son bears his fathers name din, my new LIP. ❤️
