If you are already term (37 weeks onwards or husto sa buwan), you may go the Labor Room/Lying-in where you will deliver, if you have any of the following: 1. Regular contractions of the uterus (paninigas ng matres) every 3-5 minutes, with or without pain. It may feel like you want to poop (parang nadudumi) or dysmenorrhea or low back pain that increases in intensity and recurs regularly. 2. Vaginal bleeding or bloody show, which means that your cervix is opening 3. Watery discharge or leaking bag of waters. 4. There is no fetal movements or baby is no longer moving for the whole day. However, if you are already 40 weeks or more (beyond your EDD or lampas sa expected date), you have the following options: 1. Have a biophysical profile ultrasound, if available. 2. Go to the hospital or lying-in where you will deliver to check your cervix 3. They may offer induction of labor so that you can deliver, if you still don’t have any regular contractions.
