60. Hi Doc, I'm 25 year old and 20 weeks na pong pregnant. Around March 9 ko lang po nalaman na 16 weeks pregnant na pala ako. Irregular ako and may pcos so hindi sumagi sa isip ko na mabubuntis ako. During 1st trimester around January nag te-take po ako ng stresstab and also nag take din ako ng Antacid since meron din akong gastritis may side effect po ba ito kay baby? Thank you po.

1. no side effect yung nainom mo Prenatal Vitamins: 1. Folic acid once a day for first trimester, then shift to any multivitamins (1 brand may do) during second trimester and continue up to 3 months after delivery 2. You may start calcium supplement (any brand) once a day during the first trimester until 3 months after delivery 3. You may or may not drink prenatal milk supplements if you are already taking calcium tablets. 4. Most important is you eat the right kinds of food. Cooked meals. Rice at least 3 ½ cups per day. Include fruits which should be thoroughly washed. 5. Avoid food and drinks that have high caloric content like cakes, donuts, milktea, softdrinks, etc. Prenatal check-up schedule during the ECQ (Lockdown) 1. 11-13 weeks for TVS if not yet done, have initial labs (CBC, blood type, urinalysis, HBsAg, HIV, VDRL/RPR, Rubella IgG), you may send result to your OB thru Viber, etc 2. 20-24 weeks for Congenital anomaly ultrasound, to check the sex of the baby as well.
