5. Doc, I'm 16 weeks pregnant. 29, First time mom. Since I can't go out para sa checkup, how do I know which preggy symptoms/signs are normal and which are not? I'm not taking any vitamins right now, milk, fruits and veggies lang. Is that okay? Cancelled na kasi checkups sa amin dahil sa covid19. Thank you!

1. there are several normal pregnancy symptoms like nausea, vomiting, gas pain, breast tenderness, etc. you may try to download Pregnancy Plus App where you are updated on the signs and symptoms of pregnancy based on you age of pregnancy. 2. folic acid once a day should be started during the first trimester of pregnancy, then shifted to multivitamins around 2nd trimester and continued until 3 months after delivery. if you think you have adequate vitamins from your meals then that is okay. but remember, pregnancy needs additional 300 calories per day.
