Super Mum

If you started the pregnancy a little on the heavier side, you need much less weight gain compared to someone with a low BMI. For now, continue to eat normally, but eat for one person and not two:) Eat a well balanced diet, with fruits and vegetables too, and avoid too much fatty and salty food. Remember to check your blood pressure regularly (ensure it’s not high) and also go for the OGTT in the 2nd trimester to ensure you don’t have diabetes. You can still have a good pregnancy and healthy baby:) Congratulations and take care!
