Obese and blood thinner

Anyone here is obese and pregnant? And has been prescribed blood thinner to reduce the risk of getting pre-eclampsia? Im in that situation but the blood thinner is causing me to vomit more than usual and when i vomit, its literally squeezing my stomach till only clear mucus comes out. And it gets very painful. When i go to the gynae, they say its not a must to continue but encouraged too. So anyone have been obese during pregnancy but didnt take blood thinners? Did everything turn out fine? 🥺

I think tt is only given due to high blood pressure? I'm overweight but for both pregnancies, I was not prescribed that as my blood pressure had always been normal while a friend of mine who is so slim but had to take tt due to high blood pressure.

may i know what is the name of the medicine that was given to u?? aspirin izzit? if the gynae told u it is not must to continue den u can stop if it really hurts u alot maybe can ask yr gynae for a 2nd opinion or other medicine..

I’m not obese but I have been prescribed aspirin to reduce changes of high blood pressure developing in pregnancy.

It’s better to listen to your gynae’s advice instead as they’re more medical professionals.
