Anyone hired maid directly on your own without agent or got help from agent to settle paperwork? Would like to know the procedures and costs involved. TIA!

I did but frankly can't really remember the costs. If I don't remember wrongly we did pay for her airfare ($100 plus) as well as the work permit application which was $30 to apply and another $30 when approved.
