Baby 7 wk 4 days but half it’s expected size

Anyone had any experience of 7 weeks 4 days baby, but half its expected size, still grows to become a normal baby? Having a feeling doctor will ask us to abort it during a rescan ten days later. IVF first try for my 40yo wife. Thanks in advance.

No gynae will ask you to abort your baby. It’s against their practice to do so. Abortion will only occur if both of you raise up. Doctor standard practice is to not do harm and if the baby doesn’t give any danger to the mother, they won’t suggest that. Unless the mother is in danger, they will then ask for your consent.
