Married but leave separately while waiting for BTO?

Hi, anyone of you got married but leave separately in your own houses while waiting for your BTO? Or your in law die die want you to move in?

After ROM, I still stayed with my parents and got my BTO 1.5 years later. I'm fortunate that my in-law didn't say or force us to stay together.
