Anyone been to turkey free and easy with kids?

My best friend went with her husband and her family after they got married. Her nieces and nephews went along. Aside from the transportation and hotels, it was pretty much free and easy. They had fun -- lots of planning had to be done though. I've been to Istanbul during my university years and it's so packed with history and culture, not challenging to go free and easy at all. Absolutely love the food! But agree with the mommy above - not a great idea to travel there now. Especially with kids.

Well try to go with tour instead of free and easy over there. But currently not a good idea to go there.
