Infant Care despite MIL takes care

Anybody sends their kid to infant care even though their MIL can take care? Am sending my 9 month old baby in to infant care as I feel that he is not learning anything, just feeding basic needs like eating and sleeping under my MIL care.

Yes, a baby can learn a lot of things from other babies, and also baby can be more independent and sociable. But I feel it is better to send the baby to Infant care after 1 year If you have the option to take care baby at home.
