Betadine or 70% Alcohol

I also used Betadine for my baby’s umbilical cord kasi sinabi ng pedia namin na it’s really important to disinfect it para maiwasan yung infection, especially since the cord is an open wound. Pero kailangan konting-konti lang yung Betadine na ilalagay. I used a cotton swab para light lang yung application. I stopped using it after the stump dried up. I think it’s important to follow your doctor’s recommendation kasi may mga babies na mas sensitive sa Betadine, so better to be cautious.
