When do you have sex after C section ?

After C section how long do you wait to have sex ?i didn’t want my hubby to feel abandoned or unloved so i tried at 3 weeks ?and first time abit painfull did again yesterday less pain n felt quite comfortable than I thought but is it safe though pls share your experience and thought TIA!?
