A lot of people say nestle nan in closest to breastmilk - why?

According to my mommy friends, Nestle Nan is the closest to breast milk in terms of taste and texture due to its similarities in composition and content. I haven't found any concrete studies done on this but it seems to be a popular view. That being said, it is definitely not a hands down replacement for breast milk or by any means the best kind of formula out there. One of them also brought up the point that breast milk is not homogeneous and different mommies will produce different milk. So I suppose at the end of the day, it's really up to how your child reacts to the formula. One baby might react positively to Nestle Nan because of its speculated similarities to breast milk but another baby might not.

I was curious too and tried googling for the answer but wasn't able to get a definite answer. In forums, where a fellow mummy posts the question which formula milk taste like breastmilk, there were multiple answers and NAN was amongst them. not sure if Nestle Nan is closest to breastmilk, but if the baby is as eager to drink the formula as breastmilk and enjoys it, I guess it must be :)
