Babygirl scratching her private parts

8 months old baby girl keep scratching her private parts and screams when she just peed or pass motion. Noticed a slight redness on her private parts so i put on desitin. It'll go away but comes back the next diaper change. Any idea what's wrong?

My kid did that too. We tried a traditional remedy and used some coconut oil to treat the redness and it really helped. I’d always recommend checking with your PD, though.
