Babygirl scratching her private parts

8 months old baby girl keep scratching her private parts and screams when she just peed or pass motion. Noticed a slight redness on her private parts so i put on desitin. It'll go away but comes back the next diaper change. Any idea what's wrong?

My kid did that too. We tried a traditional remedy and used some coconut oil to treat the redness and it really helped. I’d always recommend checking with your PD, though.

bring to PD. stop using wet wipes, use water to clean her up, change diaper more often.

Bring her to PD, could be UTI
