Diarrhea... or not?

My 6month old babygirl has been pooping quite frequently lately. Currently mix-feed; direct latch at home and formula milk in infant care. Her doctor at NUH said it’s normal (showed him pictures) but another PD said it’s diarrhoea. She has a tendency of pooping after every feeding or in the middle of feed in IFC. We’ve changed from Enfamil to Isomil but both resulted in the same (poop after feed). Trying Similac Total Comfort now. Any mummies can confirm if this is diarrhoea? Her teachers are concern that it’s not pasty as she has began to start on Cerelac rice. She’s still active as usual though so I’m totally at a lost... kept receiving calls from her teacher while I’m at work and had to bring her back in the middle of the day.

My boy is also 6 months old and having diarrhoea since Mon. He is still active and not fussy. Poo-ed 5 to 6 times a day. Brought him to a GP and was given med and probiotic. GP also advised to avoid normal FM and feed him with Isomail for the time being as it is soy-based, and tentatively stop BF until his stool is not so watery. BF babies' poo is generally more wet those drinking FM. However, this is subjective as most ppl will still BF. So far his poo yesterday was so watery. I'm still monitoring to see if he's better with these. If at any point, you feel unsure, just bring to see doctor. Better be safe than sorry...

Pooping every feed meaning how many times a day? My child is a massive pooper since birth, and was pooping so much throughout. Pd did tell me that if the stools are not all watery, some seeds (mine was breastfed fully) in it, it is fine. What about the poop type and frequency when you direct latch at home? Is it the same(trying to rule out if it’s due to the fm). Check with another doc for 3rd opinion? Maybe try to give probiotics to strengthen gut as well.

it looks like diarrhoea to me but im not a doctor. how long have it been? normally when changing milk, baby's stool tends to be softer than usual. also when u change the milk its better to mix then totally change it. sometimes changing milk too often isn't gonna help. try give it a week or so and slowly see how she is doing? 😊
