Skin on baby’s feet peeling

Hello, my 6mo baby has been leopard crawling on her playmat and I notice the skin on her feet are peeling due to friction. Is there anything I can do to prevent this while still letting her crawl around? Not sure if socks is advisable at this age. Thank you.

You can apply light lotion on your baby’s feet at the end of the day before they sleep, but you need to remember to wipe it off before she crawls again as it can be slippery. Socks can help in this situation, but do monitor for sweating and wash both the socks and her feet frequently.
