I had this issue with my first born, and it was really difficult to make her sit and eat. we made sure that we all sit together as a family for our meals. i also started giving her food in a cute kiddie thali, with multiple slots for different types of food. i would put rice, roti, her favourite fruit, some salad, and other food items in the slots and let her eat on her own. initially, she still would get up and roam around, but slowly, she started sitting down for longer stretches and then for the entire meal.
