My 2 years old LO refuses to try any new food. He can eat biscuit but he doesn't want to eat cake or bread. He is still eating porridge for meals as he doesn't want to try rice. How to handle this?

Nevermind if your kid does not want cake. Eating too much or getting hook is not going to do him any good. For porridge wise, add a little rice in each of his porridge serving. Slowly increase the rice proportion. Overtime he will get use to the texture. U can introduce healthy snacks like fruits to him. If he doesnt like more solid fruits like apple or pear. Try kiwi or banana.

maybe you can try give 1 meal of porridge & dinner time eat rice. for snacks can try corn flakes or even breads again. introducing your little one fruits like apple, pearl.

Change the texture of the rice. Otherwise add soup into the rice. Then you can add some red dates, or wolfberries with carrots. My bub loves it.

Try progressing from porridge to rice with soup then rice with sauce and then rice? :) or try different types of rice like risotto or paella?

Try integrating more rice into the porridge and decrease the amount of porridge to get him accustomed to it :)
