yes I agree. children should be guided as per the circumstances .....but over protecting them will make them dependent .....

How should I manage my time with my family if I plan to work from home.

Just as you would have a fixed time of work if you were to go to office try and keep a fixed time at home too. Figure out how much time you require for the same and fit it into your daily schedule.it may take a few days to adjust initially but you'll get used to it soon.

it's a good group. I wish I had it when my kids were born. but I'll share a secret which my mom in law told me for a flat tummy after my C section. it helped get rid of belly fat in 3 months. I joined my husband in Gulf after 3 months of delivery and had a flat tummy at that time due to her secret. but now due to neglect, I'm back to fat self... ok...here's the secret... each time u drink water, it should be as hot as a cup of tea. each time... nothing added to it. just hot water to drink. I had a large thermos filled in the morning with hot water. initially as I was resting my mom in law would give me anything I asked for. so each time I reached for water she would hand me a glass of hot water. it was horrible to drink it, but I really thanked her for my flat tummy.

Anyone using mother sparsh gripe water?

No, I haven't used this particular gripe water but I have used gripe water for my baby and it is completely safe. I have given her many times for colic, and even were times when I used to give her once daily. Since, it is for colic and receives gastric in babies, you can also use asafoetida too. You can put little asafoetida in warm water and melt it to make a little thick paste. And then you can apply it on the baby's navel. I am trying to change my baby schedule but i give up now. She daily sleep at 2am to 12pm. This is her night sleep. I give daily at 11pm 1apple with cerelac n at 1:30 am 240ml milk. This is continuing for past 5months , so is it ok to give Dis much late apple as nothing happened to her stomach till now. ?? Plss help me out.

Though, the routine seems quite peculiar to how generally it is for babies but if the baby is comfortable, you can continue with the routine. I still doubt about giving her apple so late. Yes. Sunlight from 7am till 8:30 is good. Esp if baby was having slight jaundice or kept under blue light after birth...

Can I nurse laying down with my baby?

of course you can nurse your baby while lying down, but just take care that you do not fall asleep while doing so, as it can be quite dangerous. if your baby is lying next to you while you are nursing, it means that if you fall asleep, your newborn can actually get suffocated with the weight of the breast. in many cases, it is also a reason for SIDS.
