Naaalala ko pa nung time na napatili ako sa saya kasi may tumulo na ng breastmilk sa akin, na akala ko nung una e walang nakukuhang BM sakin si Krishtelle. Normal naman pala na walang tutulong BM right after manganak kasi akala nang nakararami (including me) na kulang o hindi sapat ang nadedede nila sa atin dahil iyak sila ng iyak. For as long as may naiihi at pupu si baby, that's really fine! Newborns' stomach ay kasinglaki lang ng Calamansi kaya di kailangan na maraming gatas agad sa una. Kung ano lang ang kailangan nilang gatas, yun lang ang isupply na BM nating mga mommies. ☺️ Napakahalaga ng breastmilk especially for baby's first 1000 days. Sabi ko noon, 6 months lang titigil na ko magpabreastfeed dahil I'm a working momma pero hangga't sa nag-1 year at nasabi ko nalang na hindi ako titigil magpabreastfeed hanggat sa di umaayaw si Krishtelle. Buti nalang nauso ang breastpumps kaya breastmilk pa rin noon kahit working si momma. 😍 I'm so thankful and blessed na mas pinili ko ang breastfeeding sa dami ng benefits nito not only for baby but also for us, mommies. Yung antibodies na naipapasa natin sa kanila na syang magpprotect sa kanila laban sa mga infection, allergy, diarrhea, at kung ano2 pang sakit. Di rin tayo mag-aalala sa kung ano man ang maging pupu nila. And what I love about it is yung bonding naming mag-ina na hindi mapapalitan ng kahit anong salapi. 💖 I'm encouraging all mommies na magpabreastfeed sa ating mga anak especially in their first 1000 days. If you have question about it, I'm willing to answer and help. Mga doubts. Mga maling akala. Mga misinformation about it.
