Smoking during pregnancy increases the risk of health problems for developing babies, including preterm birth, low birth weight, and birth defects of the mouth and lip. Smoking during and after pregnancy also increases the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Smoking anytime during your pregnancy is dangerous. There is no safe amount of smoking. Every puff of a cigarette releases harmful chemicals that will reach your baby and affect your health too. E-cigarettes are also not harmless. Although there is still much to learn about e-cigarettes, pregnant women should not use them. The nicotine in e-cigarettes is harmful for developing babies. Quitting is the best thing you can do for you and your baby.

Is it a bad idea to change doctors at the end of my pregnancy?

The doctor-patient relationship is always based on the level of comfort because you're going to entrust your life and the baby's to the doctor. You must feel comfortable. If you're not comfortable, there's no harm in changing. Most people would not change because the doctor already know you and you have built up with certain rapport. Should you think there is a need to change for whatever reason (e.g you may not agree to do a c-section but the doctor offers), you can always seek another opinion and see whether you're comfortable with the other doctor.

It happens in about 10% of breastfeeding women. It’s also common amongst cows and goats! I don’t know why it’s so common but it’s not rare and it really sucks!!!

Yes, in fact there may be fainting bouts sometimes due to higher blood flow to placenta so do be careful
