What language do you use at home?

Hi, I am Indonesian soon-to-be mother who lives in Mexico City. My husband speaks Spanish, and we use English for our daily conversation. Now I am a little bit concern about what language to use at my home when the baby is born. Anybody has the same experience? I am considering any inputs. Thanks so much!

Babies and kids have an amazing capacity to accept and learn multiple languages. Your baseline language to communicate with baby can be English, since that’s what both you and your husband speak. But you can also introduce spanish and bahasa in the early childhood years.
