      Anyone ever went to 20th week scan and doc said something about they found echogenic focus in baby heart?????

        Hi! I went for my detailed scan at KKH on my 20th week, and they also said there are 2 “echogenic” foci found in my bb’s heart too! But the doctor assured me that it’s common to have this and it should be of no problem so we shouldn’t worry. Unless there are more than 5 echogenic foci found, then there might be a chance of Down Syndrome. If you already went for the Down syndrome test, then all the more you don’t have anything to worry about! I didn’t go for the test, but the doctor said I shouldn’t worry because it’s not dangerous. Hope this makes you feel more assured! 😃
