My baby hates the bottle

Baby doesn’t want to drink milk at all. Change brand change milk brand. Nothing seems to work. Only drinks when I put him to sleep and naps. Can’t drink when awake: what shd I do? Brought to hospital but can’t find any reason to worry. Can’t seem to help

I rmb that we went through this stage. It was a phase and my baby resumed to drinking milk after that.

Am I overreacting or..?

Quick story - husband and I not in and we have family member take care of 6MO LO for a few days. Family member knows LO drink n sleep pattern etc and came over to our place help take care LO overnight. Initial arrangement is MIL will come over to our place to help take care of LO during day so the fam member can go rest. Even if wanna take care overnight - also must be at our place. However last min MIL told family member that she wanna bring LO to her home n take care. So bottle warmer/expressed breast milk etc she bring it over to their home and will return LO the next day. MIL didn’t inform us at all until we heard it from the family member. Felt so upset by it.. and my husband confronted my MIL through phone. MIL got hurt and mentioned that she specially took leave to take care of LO.. I’m upset becos they didn’t inform us..n hence husband called to confront her.. am I overreacting .. after a while we agreed that it’s okay for LO to stay overnight just that next time inform us. All is good. But evening, was informed that she transported everything and bring LO back to my place and will stay overnight at our place instead (maybe she felt guilty?) This way I was even more upset…. Transporting my frozen breast milk here n there and all the stuffs. Ughh.. am I overreacting sigh.. I do appreciate her good intention to take care of LO..

Forgive her and let it go this time... I think she didn't think so much until it happened and realised her mistake already.

MIL wants my baby to call me MAMA

Does any of your MIL (chinese) likes to call herself Mama to your baby? Typically for chinese the grandmother at father side is called Ah Mah. But she double the last word to make it sound Mama. I have been very uncomfortable with it and have voiced out my frustration to my hubby. But he dismissed it as he thought its just a small and stingy issue. I also couldn't possibly say it in her face to say Stop asking baby to call u Mama as I don't dare. Somemore she is taking care of my baby 24/7 hence I'm scared that my baby really call her mama next time. What should I do?

Is it Cantonese’s ma3ma3? It’s sounds very different than normal mama

baby always crying

hi help pls my 3 months is always crying. when put down, before sleep, after feed, always crying. we tried all ways, changing diaper, feed, give colic medicine but he is still crying even when we carry. anyone has experience? pls help.

yes i experienced it before. unfortunately the only way is to carry and soothe since you’ve tried so many methods. but good news is they’ll grow out of this, you hang in there

hi mummies what’s the first soild food you introduced to your baby? also, at how many months? my mil kept telling me baby is suitable to eat soild (he is 5m 5d now) pls advise

I started cereal at 5.5m (she can sit assisted without wobbling), then followed by fruits puree. I don’t feed everyday, maybe once every 2-3 days.

How old start introducing puree/porridge?

Heard that can start from 4 months if baby can sit up with support? Or only strictly 6 months? #newmom #advice

Some gave around 4-4.5m after PD gave green light. But to be safe, best to wait out abit more till 5/5.5m 😊
